Hartford, KY — Sept. 15, 2025 — The City of Hartford is excited to announce OctoberFest 2025, a two-day community celebration that blends the energy of Hartford fall traditions. The event takes place Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25 in downtown Hartford, offering something for all ages.
Friday Night Block Party (October 24 | 4–9:30 PM)
The festival kicks off Friday evening with a free community concert featuring live music, food trucks, vendors, and family activities. Guests can enjoy vendors, food trucks, paddle boats and bumper cars from 4-8p. “Glow Night” fun kicks-off as the stage lights turn on for opening act, Barrett and the headliners, The Bombers.
- 6:00–7:00 PM: Barrett: Kicking off the evening will be Barrett, setting the stage with a performance you won’t want to miss. With their dynamic sound and high-energy style, Barrett is the perfect complement to the legendary Bombers.
- 7:30–9:30 PM: The Bombers: Owensboro’s legendary Bombers (formerly known as the Velvet Bombers) are back and bringing their powerhouse sound to the stage.
Saturday Fall Fest Fun (October 25 | 9 AM–6 PM)
Saturday transforms downtown Hartford into a family-friendly fall festival, complete with seasonal activities and entertainment. Highlights include:
- 3rd Annual Sorehead 5K — 8 AM race time in partnership with the Ohio County Wellness Center
- Cornhole Tournament — 11 AM registration, 12 PM start
- Food trucks, vendors, paddle boats, bumper cars
- A petting zoo, s’mores station, mini golf, and contests for all ages
Celebrating Community
“OctoberFest brings together the best of fall traditions — a lively, free, concert for the community on Friday night and a full day of harvest fun for families on Saturday,” said Mayor Wright. “It’s a weekend that showcases Hartford’s spirit of community, fun, and tradition.”
The event is free to attend, with activities available throughout the weekend.
