Hartford, KY — The City of Hartford is pleased to announce that Jason Roberts has officially been sworn in as a member of the Hartford City Council, filling the vacancy left by Tommy Cash.

Mr. Cash recently resigned from his position on the council after accepting the role of Deputy Coroner. Due to the responsibilities of his new position, he is unable to serve in both capacities.

Mayor Beau Wright expressed appreciation for Mr. Cash’s service and enthusiasm for the council’s newest member. “We are grateful to Tommy for his dedication and contributions to the City of Hartford during his time on the council,” said Mayor Wright. “We wish him the best in his new role as Deputy Coroner. I am also looking forward to working with Jason Roberts and am confident he will be a strong addition to our team.”

Mr. Roberts brings a commitment to public service and a desire to support the continued growth and well-being of the Hartford community.
