Hartford, KY — The holiday spirit is officially on display across Hartford as entries have been announced for this year’s community decorating event. Residents and visitors are invited to take part by viewing the festive displays throughout town and supporting local creativity and holiday cheer.

Community members are encouraged to travel the route, enjoy the decorations, and share in the holiday fun. Displays can be viewed at your own pace and are a great way to celebrate the season with family and friends.
A reminder to participants and community members that judging for this year’s community decorating event will take place in the evening between December 21 and December 26. There are awards for residential and business entries of $200 for first place and $100 for second in each category. Additionally, judges will identify “best of” awards for bragging rights for: winter wonderland, classic Christmas spirit, most creative, and gingerbread delight.
Judges will visit each entry during this period, so participants are encouraged to ensure decorations remain on display throughout the judging window (weather will be taken into consideration).
